First and foremost the SAFA would like to wish you all a happy new year. We hope that you all had excellent holidays and you are all well rested because we have many events planned for you this semester.
Constitutional Committee Meeting – January 19th
Are you interested making changes to the structure of your Students’ Association? Do you think you have an idea that we can benefit from? Or would you just like to learn more about how SAFA runs? Electric Church Party – January 20th
The SAFA in collaboration with Kapacity and Good Problems are, once again, hosting the Electric Church Party at St. Brigid’s located at 310 St. Patrick street. DJ Drastik and DJ Illo will provide solid tracks all night. The tickets are 12$ in advance and are available at any of the following locations: Reap and Sew, Fall Down Gallery, Top of the World, NRML, and of course the SAFA office (0035 SMD). Buy your tickets early and come party in a church with us.
Guerre des tuques – February, 3rd
Every year the SFUO organizes a 24-hour fort building competition between faculties. The event will take place on February 3rd, at noon. We are recruiting a fierce army to help us build the ultimate fort! Email social@artsuottawa.ca for more details.
Apparel
The SAFA is selling apparel again this semester. We have t-shirts (heather plum and dark heather) available for 17$, baseball t-shirts (black and white) for 20$, and hoodies (truffle) for 40$. Stop by the office (0035 SMD) to try on your size!
Locker rental
Our lovely secretary, Jacki, is in the process of renewing locker rentals. Stop by the office, or send her an email at sec@artsuottawa.ca to rent a locker. The Simard lockers can be rented for 10$ (cash only).
Finally, our elections for next year’s executive are fast approaching. Keep an eye out for more details in the near future.
